A Protocol Pivot - Hybrid Adaptations for Meetings and Events

Since the pandemic, the world has evolved immensely. However, one thing remains important and relevant than ever, it is the power of human connection, whether they are online, in-person, or a blend of both - hybrid

It used to be that hybrid events meant a physical event with some forms of online participation. Now, as we pivot to adjust to the "new normal", we can finally re-introduce a combination of face-to-face option with online access to our otherwise predominantly virtual events.

This continual change has given the different organizations, from government, private companies, to public institutions, an opportunity to creatively deliver productive and engaging experiences for organizers and attendees, with the core purpose of maintaining the fundament gathering aspects of events and meetings.

In this webinar, Jessica and Blandine explore the significance of hybrid events, and discuss the benefits and challenges of the different types of event formats through real-life examples from the City of Houston's high-profile events.

Learning Objectives: During this session, attendees will learn to:

  • Know the available approaches for events (in-person, social media, live events, hybrid events)
  • Understand the “hybrid” approach
  • Identify the different types of hybrid events: change and features required to execute them well
  • Learn through case studies: Key benefits and challenges for each type of events
  • Gather tips for hosting hybrid events and choosing the applicable format for your events

The registration deadline is 15 October 2021.
